The Chromatics – “In the City”
I want to thank Random Types for turning me on to Chromatic’s new video “In the City.” I’ve always been very into minimalist new wave tracks like this.
I’m going to try and grab their record (“Night Drive”) as soon as it hits stores.
Andy Dixon
I’ll be traveling to Victoria and Vancouver this week. As I often do before I travel, I’ve been researching things to do when I’m there. I found Andy Dixon (of Vancouver, I think). I really like his paintings:

Pete Feigenbaum’s Beautiful Model Railroad Slums
Pete Feigenbaum, guitarist for Dino Walrus (and onetime guitarist for Titus Andronicus) has made amazing model railroad scenery of rundown urban locations. Seems like the majority of them are invented and not actual places. Here’s a sample:
